TRAVEL TO GUINEA-BISSAU

If you have had enough of mass tourism and want to experience something new and unique this is an opportunity that you can't miss out. We wish to invite you to a journey to one of the most beautiful and virgin destinations of modern Afrika.

Guinea-Bissau is a small West African country, known for its unique biodiversity and many national parks (protected by Unesco). It is here that you can find everything from unexplored tropical forests, beautiful sandy beaches of numerous islands of Bijagos Archipelago to many different african animals and plants. You can explore traditional african cultures, enjoy the unspoiled nature and visit traditional villages.

We take it as our mission to preserve and develop this unique ecosistem, culture, flora and fauna and at the same time help to support the local economy and communities. We take it very seriously. That is why we only organize small groups of travellers (6-8) and collaborate with local communities at all times.

Our sustainable travel guidelines are based upon 5 key objectives:

  • To protect the environment – its flora, fauna and landscapes
  • To respect local cultures – traditions, religions and built heritage
  • To benefit local communities – both economically and socially
  • To conserve natural resources – from office to destination
  • To minimise pollution – through noise, waste disposal and congestion

We strongly believe that any form of tourism in Guinea-Bissau must have positive affects on all parties involved - tourists, local people and environment. The majority of us have lived, worked, or travelled extensively in this part of the world. We have seen for ourselves how tourism, if well-managed, eco-friendly and sustainable, can and does benefit the destination.
